Use your wrist to assist the barrel to contact. It is similar to the hammering motion.
At contact, continue through the ball with a push through the ball, assuring we are not rolling over our wrist.
Front arm swing
Choke up on the bat gripping the top of the grip with your front hand.
Place your back hand on your front bicep to help brace the weight of the bat and avoid your swing from dipping.
You will have to get a little closer to the ball than usual, the length of your bat being shortened from choking up.
Focus on feeling the bat getting on plain and getting the knob pointed towards second base.
Begin this drill slow and increase the speed with reps.

Swing through contact, extend the elbows/arms the same direction you are hitting the ball. Wrist will continue the barrel, pointing towards the direction of the ball.
Find best contact point
Hit heavy bag and find where you 're strongest contact point is.
Try different pitch locations.
Remember compact load..... compact to contact, efficient power!
